About Yamasa
Yamasa Corporation (ヤマサ醤油株式会社) is a soy sauce maker founded in 1645 in Choshi, Chiba, where its head office and brewery still stand. It makes soy sauce, other seasonings and pharmaceutical products.
How to use & enjoy
Use it as an all-purpose soy sauce for everyday cooking, such as stir-fries and simmered dishes, and at the table as a dip for sashimi and sushi. It is also the seasoning for tamago kake gohan — hot rice mixed with a raw egg. Once opened, keep it tightly closed in the fridge: air darkens soy sauce and dulls its flavour.
Ingredients
Organically grown soybeans (Canada or USA), wheat, salt.
