Sanko Seika Co., Ltd. (三幸製菓株式会社) is a Niigata-based rice-cracker (米菓) maker established in 1962, and is Japan's second-largest rice-cracker manufacturer. Its flagship is the snow-glazed Yuki no Yado (雪の宿) senbei; the range also includes Parinko, Cheese Almond, Echigo Taruyaki and the Sanko no Agesen fried-cracker line.
What is agesen
Agesen (揚げせんべい) is a deep-fried Japanese rice cracker — lighter and crisper than a baked senbei. This one is made in a slim stick shape and individually wrapped for tidy, on-the-go snacking.
