About Nissin Foods

Nissin Foods (日清食品) was founded 1948 by Momofuku Ando, who invented instant ramen with the launch of Chicken Ramen (チキンラーメン) in 1958 — the world's first instant noodle. In 1971 Nissin launched Cup Noodle (カップヌードル), the world's first cup-style instant noodle. The portfolio includes Cup Noodle, Donbei (どん兵衛) udon and soba, U.F.O. yakisoba, Raoh (ラ王) premium ramen, and Hiyashi Chuka summer ramen. The broth

Salt-based shio broth layered with seafood dashi notes — vegetable oil, salt, sugars, aroma oil, seafood seasoning oil, chicken extract, chicken fat, seafood extract, bonito-flake powder, yuzu peel, and kombu extract. Yuzu citrus zest gives the broth a clean, aromatic lift.
