Nisshin's Gokumochi (極もち, "extra-chewy") hotcake mix is made with 100% domestic Japanese wheat flour, of which about 25% is the premium "Yumechikara" (ゆめちから) variety — a high-protein wheat that gives the Gokumochi line its signature mochi-mochi (chewy), moist texture, fluffier and chewier than a standard pancake mix. The 480 g bag holds three individual 160 g sachets, pre-portioned for easy single-batch cooking.

Nisshin Seifun Welna (日清製粉ウェルナ) is the consumer-foods company of the Nisshin Seifun Group, one of Japan's largest flour-milling groups and a leading maker of home-use flour and pre-mixes; it was renamed from Nisshin Foods to Nisshin Seifun Welna in 2022. Under its main "Nisshin" brand it makes home-use flours and a wide range of pre-mixes (okonomiyaki, takoyaki, karaage, tempura, and pancake mixes), alongside its Ma-Ma (マ・マー) and Aodo (青の洞窟) pasta and pasta sauces, imported Di Cecco pasta, and dried udon and soba.
