About Mizkan
Mizkan (ミツカン / 株式会社Mizkan) traces back to 1804, when a sake brewer in the village of Handa — in what is now Aichi Prefecture — began making "kasu-zu" vinegar from sake lees after encountering the sushi of Edo. The company is still headquartered in Handa, and its range today includes Ajipon citrus ponzu and Kantan Su seasoned vinegar.
