Marusan's organic unsweetened soy milk is made from only soybeans and water, with a solid soybean content of 9%. Marusan describes the result as a rich and smooth aftertaste. It is an OCIA Japan Organic JAS certified product, and is also Halal certified by the Japan Islamic Trust. One litre in a paper carton; Marusan's storage direction is to keep it away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity.

What "unsweetened" means here
Unsweetened soy milk — 無調整豆乳 (muchosei tonyu) — is soy milk with nothing added to adjust it: no sugar, salt, oil or flavouring, just soybeans and water. It is the plainer of the two standard Japanese styles; the other, 調整豆乳 (chosei tonyu), is sweetened and rounded out to be easier to drink straight.
