Kikkoman Shiboritate Nama Soy Sauce (Unpasteurised) 450ml is soy sauce that skips the heat treatment ordinary shoyu is finished with. Kikkoman describes the result as a vivid colour, a soft saltiness and a gentle aroma that bring out the natural flavour of the ingredients, with a gentle sweetness and a rich umami — for dipping, for pouring, and across a range of dishes. The 450ml size comes in Kikkoman's "sealed eco bottle" (密封ecoボトル), a double-walled PET bottle that keeps the soy sauce fresh for 120 days at room temperature after opening and is recyclable. It pours by push: press the bottle and soy sauce comes out, release it and the flow stops, so you can pour anything from a single drop up to the amount you want.

What "nama" soy sauce means
Ordinary soy sauce is finished with hiire (火入れ), a heat treatment applied after brewing. Nama (生) soy sauce is not heat-treated, and that is what gives the style its brighter colour and its softer, less assertive character next to a standard koikuchi shoyu.
