About Itsuki Foods
Itsuki Foods Co., Ltd. (五木食品) is a Kumamoto noodle maker founded in 1878. Kyushu — Itsuki's home region — is the heartland of tonkotsu ramen. Itsuki makes dried, instant, semi-dry and long-life (LL) noodles and exports widely, including to Australia. The "Itsuki" brand name has been used since 1957.
About this range
This is one of Itsuki's export ("kaigai-yo") regional ramen — a series themed on famous ramen styles across Japan. "Tonkotsu-fu" (とんこつ風) means tonkotsu-style — a soup that imitates the pork-bone flavour rather than a long-simmered fresh pork-bone stock.
