How to use & enjoy
Futaba suggests sprinkling a pack over dressed side dishes (aemono), blanched greens (ohitashi) or chilled tofu (hiyayakko), or using it to make a small amount of dashi. Bonito flakes are also sprinkled over okonomiyaki and takoyaki, and seasoned with soy sauce they become okaka, a filling for onigiri rice balls.
