Amanoya (株式会社天乃屋 / AMANOYA Corp.) is a Tokyo rice-cracker maker; the company began fried-cracker production in 1954 and launched its flagship Kabuki-age (歌舞伎揚) line in 1960, registering the "歌舞伎" trademark in 1971.
What is Kabuki-age
Kabuki-age is Amanoya's signature agemochi — a puffed, deep-fried rice cracker glazed with a sweet-savoury soy sauce, named after the kabuki theatre and a long-loved Japanese snack.
