Ajinomoto Knorr® Cup Soup Milk Mushroom Potage (ミルク仕立てのきのこのポタージュ) 42.6g — a box of three 14.2 g sachets, one per cup. Ajinomoto describes it as a rich, creamy potage with carefully selected mushrooms and plenty of milk melted right through it. Mushroom, shiitake and butter-sautéed mushroom powder carry the flavour, and each cup finishes with a floating garnish of dried buna-shimeji and parsley.
About Ajinomoto
Ajinomoto (味の素株式会社) began trading in May 1909 and was incorporated in December 1925. It makes and sells the Knorr® Cup Soup range in Japan, alongside its own ranges such as Hondashi (ほんだし) bonito dashi granules and the Cook Do® Chinese seasonings.
What is a potage?
Potage is a thick, smooth style of soup — puréed and enriched rather than clear. ミルク仕立て (miruku-jitate) means milk-finished.
