Mizkan Kokumotsu Su (穀物酢) 500ml — multi-grain distilled vinegar brewed from wheat, rice, corn, and sake lees. Pale yellow with a milder, more neutral flavour than pure rice vinegar (4.2% acidity).
About Mizkan
Mizkan (ミツカン / 株式会社Mizkan) was founded 1804 in Handa, Aichi Prefecture, originally as a vinegar brewer using sake-kasu (sake lees) to produce affordable rice vinegar. Mizkan's sushi-vinegar innovation was instrumental in popularising Edo-era nigirizushi. Today Mizkan's flagship range includes Ajipon (味ぽん) citrus ponzu, Honteri mirin-style seasoning, Oigatsuo Tsuyu noodle soup base, Konbu Tsuyu, Kantanzu sushi vinegar, and Kinnotsubu natto.
