About Ajinomoto

What is gochujang?
Gochujang (고추장, kochujan in Japanese) is a Korean fermented paste of red chilli and soybean. Its heat arrives with sweetness and savoury depth behind it rather than a sharp, immediate burn — a fermented seasoning, not a fresh chilli sauce.
How to use & enjoy
Gochujang is used both as a cooking seasoning and as a table condiment. It is the paste stirred through bibimbap, it flavours Korean stews and hot pots, and it appears in cold noodle dishes such as naengmyeon.
