About Ajinomoto
Ajinomoto (味の素株式会社) began trading in May 1909 and was incorporated in December 1925. It makes and sells the Knorr® Soup DELI range in Japan, alongside its own ranges such as Hondashi (ほんだし) bonito dashi granules and the Cook Do® Chinese seasonings.
What is tarako?
Tarako (たらこ) is salted pollock roe — a staple Japanese ingredient with a delicate, briny savouriness, and the base of Japan's familiar tarako cream pasta. 豆乳仕立て (tonyu-jitate) means it is made with soy milk.

Pasta (made in Belgium), starch, creaming powder, dextrin, sugar, salt, soy milk powder, dried tarako, cheese powder, processed edible oils and fats, spices, nori, yeast extract, whole milk powder, onion powder / seasoning (amino acids etc.), xanthan gum, monascus colour, antioxidant (vitamin E).

Fish is declared here because dried tarako (pollock roe) is an ingredient. Ajinomoto's Japanese label lists only milk, wheat and soy, as fish roe is not a designated allergen in Japan — Australian labelling requires fish to be declared, so our declaration is deliberately broader than the maker's.
