Maruchan Kamaage Nihon Soba (釜あげ日本そば) is a frozen, pre-boiled Japanese soba noodle sold five servings to the bag — 200g each, a kilogram in total. It is the firm "hard type" of the range: made with darker buckwheat flour for a crisp, clean-breaking bite, and built to resist going soft once it is sitting in hot broth, which is why Maruchan names kake soba as the dish it suits best. The noodles are already cooked and deep-frozen, so they need 30 to 45 seconds in boiling water and nothing else. Keep at −18°C and do not refreeze.
