About Nisshin Seifun Welna
Nisshin Seifun Welna (日清製粉ウェルナ) is the consumer-foods arm of the Nisshin Seifun Group, Japan's largest flour milling company (founded 1900). The Welna brand makes home-cooking staples: Camellia (カメリヤ) bread flour and Violet (バイオレット) cake flour, Ma-Ma (マ・マー) pasta and pasta sauces, Aodo (青の洞窟) premium Italian-style pasta sauces, dried udon and soba, plus okonomiyaki, takoyaki, karaage, tempura, and pancake mixes. What's okonomiyaki
Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a savoury Japanese pancake — a cabbage-packed batter griddled until golden and finished with a sweet-savoury brown sauce, mayonnaise, dried seaweed and bonito flakes. The name means roughly "grilled how you like it", after the free choice of fillings, and a flour mix supplies the seasoned, dashi-rich base in one step.
