Ajinomoto Soup Deli® Whole Tomato Soup Pasta 40.6g is a single-serve cup of Italian-style tomato soup with macaroni, made with the equivalent of about one whole small ripe tomato. The tomato comes through three ways — tomato powder, dried tomato pieces and tomato extract — over a base rounded out with cheese powder and a savoury seasoning. The pasta is made in Belgium and the tomato powder in Spain, and the cup is filled at Ajinomoto Foods' Kawasaki plant in Japan.
About Ajinomoto
Ajinomoto (味の素株式会社) has been trading since May 1909 and was incorporated in December 1925. Soup DELI® is its range of single-cup soups built around a starch — pasta or rice — so that a cup functions as a light meal rather than a side.
What "soup pasta" means here
Soup pasta is exactly what the name suggests: a soup with pasta cooked into it, thick enough to eat as a small meal rather than sip alongside one. The dried macaroni in the cup rehydrates in the hot water along with the soup powder, so no separate boiling is needed.

Pasta (made in Belgium), tomato powder, sugar, mashed potato, dextrin, starch, salt, dried tomato, creaming powder, processed edible oil, tomato extract, spices, cheese powder, clam extract, cod powder, fermented soybean seasoning, hydrolysed protein, vegetable extract seasoning / seasoning (amino acids etc.), xanthan gum, acidulant. Contains: wheat, milk, soy, chicken, fish and mollusc.
Allergens
Contains: milk, wheat, soy and chicken, as declared by Ajinomoto Japan (アレルギー物質: 乳成分、小麦、大豆、鶏肉) — and additionally fish and mollusc, because the ingredient list includes cod powder and clam extract. Fish and molluscs are mandatory allergen declarations in Australia but not in Japan, so we declare them here even though the Japanese label does not.
