About the maker — Yukiwa Shokuhin
Yukiwa Shokuhin Co., Ltd. (雪和食品株式会社) of Matsudo, Chiba, was founded in 1946 as Matsudo Seipan, baking bread for school lunches, and went on to make panko. It makes fresh and dried panko for shops and food businesses, plus starches and flours.
How to use & enjoy
Panko is a coating for deep-fried foods, giving them a light, crisp crunch, in dishes such as tonkatsu pork and katsu chicken. It also makes a crunchy topping for baked dishes such as mac and cheese.
