S&B Namafumi Spaghetti Sauce Mentaiko (生風味・からし明太子) 52.4g — a ready-to-use Japanese pasta sauce from S&B's Namafumi ("fresh-flavour") line, with what S&B calls "the outstanding flavor of cod roe and hot red chili peppers". Stir it straight into freshly cooked spaghetti; no heating needed.

About S&B Foods
S&B Foods (エスビー食品株式会社) was founded 1923 by Minejiro Yamazaki in Asakusa, Tokyo. Yamazaki produced Japan's first commercial domestic curry powder — the "Hidori" brand — and the "S&B" mark (combining "Sun" and "Bird") was added to the trademark in 1931. What's mentaiko
Mentaiko (明太子) is salt-cured pollock or cod roe, traditionally seasoned with chilli pepper — a Hakata (Fukuoka) regional specialty. Bright orange-red, gently salty, with a granular pop in the mouth. Karashi mentaiko is the spiced version; tarako is the milder, non-chilli sibling.
