About Kaneshichi
Kaneshichi (かね七株式会社) is a food maker in Mizuhashi, Toyama City, founded in 1884 and incorporated in 1961. It makes niboshi dried sardines, katsuobushi, dashi packs, kombu rolls, instant dashi seasonings and firefly-squid delicacies.
How to use & enjoy
One stick makes about four bowls of miso soup — dashi is the stock miso soup is made with. Kaneshichi also suggests it for clear soups, yudofu, simmered dishes and oden, and stirred into bottled noodle soup base for a mellower kelp flavour. It can even be sprinkled over tempura.

Salt (made in Japan), lactose, flavour ingredients (kombu powder, kombu extract powder, bonito flake powder), starch, seasoning (amino acids, etc.).
