About Meiji
Meiji (株式会社明治) is one of Japan's largest confectionery and dairy companies, founded 1916. The Meiji chocolate range — Milk Chocolate, Hi-Milk, Black, Almond, Macadamia, Apolo strawberry-chocolate, Kinoko no Yama (mushroom-shaped chocolate biscuits), and Takenoko no Sato (bamboo-shoot-shaped chocolate biscuits) — anchors the Japanese chocolate aisle.
